Tyler, the Creator hints at new music with 'St. Chroma' teaser

Tyler, the Creator appears to be gearing up for his next project, as the rapper released a teaser on Wednesday hinting at new music.

The 90-second "St. Chroma" clip features an apparently masked Tyler leading a line of similarly dressed men marching into an oversized shipping container that has the word "Chromakopia" spray-painted on it. In the final seconds of the teaser, the clip switches from sepia to color and the container is blown up and explodes.

The teaser was uploaded to Tyler, the Creator's social media accounts and YouTube, each with a different caption. "1. st chroma," it reads on Instagram, while on YouTube it simply reads '8.'

Tyler, the Creator's last album, Call Me If You Get Lost, came out in 2021. While the rapper has featured on other artists' songs since then (such as Pharrell Williams' "Cash In Cash Out"), he hasn't released any of his own music since Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale - a deluxe version of the LP with additional songs from the recording sessions - was released in 2023.

However, Tyler's recent activity suggests he could be gearing up for new music, as he has performed at festivals this year such as Coachella and Austin City Limits over the last two weekends, but canceled Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. However, Tyler didn't play any new songs at either ACL concert.
